PUBG Mobile India was likely to return to India on November 20, but neither PUBG Corporation nor its parent company Krafton has issued a statement to address the same.
Over the last week, an official PUBG Mobile India site has been set up. Three trailers have been released stating that the game is ‘coming soon’.
PUBG Mobile also plans to introduce stricter time limits, green blood, and fully-clothed characters.
Indian fans of the battle royale game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) are waiting with bated breath for the game to make its comeback in India.
It was rumored it will re-launch in India on November 20. However, at the time of writing this article, there has been no official announcement yet from either the PUBG Corporation or the parent company, Krafton, on the release of the game.
Meanwhile, the company has set up an official site and uploaded teasers that indicate that PUBG Mobile’s return to India is imminent.
“The teaser is going to be out tomorrow. So we can assume that the game is likely to get released before November 20,” said PUBG gamer Kronten — who is one of the faces featured in the trailer along with Dynamo and Jonathan — on November 14.
The Indian government has also been conspicuously quiet about PUBG Mobile’s return to India after the battle royale game was banned in September among the list of 118 Chinese mobile apps. According to the statement by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), the game was blocked due to data privacy and protection concerns.
